Help Us Pass Progressive Ballot Measures in Boulder!

Howdy friends!

We know that you share our vision for a Boulder that embraces significant positive change and a community that is open and accessible to all.

With those values in mind we encourage Boulder to
strengthen local democracy, protect our neighbors, our climate, and our libraries.

Taken in isolation each of these issues stands on its own with great importance, but the whole is even greater than the sum of its parts. Taking cues from the concept of social infrastructure and
Palaces for the People, Boulder Progressives believes in building resilient communities with robust public spaces and social protections. On the physical infrastructure side of the equation you have libraries (Yes on 6C) and flood control (No on 2F). One, a measure that will support the places that anchor the community and help it grow, the other a measure that protects the community we already have. But social infrastructure is not limited to tangible things, the concept can be expanded to include principles and processes that promote social good. With that in mind we believe in bringing more people to the local decision-making table by moving elections to even years (Yes on 2E) and saying yes to taxing ourselves to advance our climate response (Yes on 2A).
We're committed to assisting these measures in getting passed, but to do that we're going to need
your help. Like we've done in recent City Council elections, we'll be bringing our unique style of wit and humor to the voters and reaching them through texts and social media. And the best part is... this time, there will be twice as many of them.

Now that you've donated (you donated, right?), might we interest you in a lovely autumn stroll dropping campaign literature on door steps? If sunny walks, blue skies, fall colors, and getting the word out about progressive ballot measures sounds like an activity that you would absolutely love to help with — sign up for dropping lit by clicking the form below!!!

In addition to the above local measures, we've got endorsements for State level seats! In Colorado House District 10 we’re backing our very own City Councilor Junie Joseph and in HD49 we're going to bat for Judy Amabile! Also, in what will likely be a very close race against the Republican incumbent, we’re all in with Janice Marchman for Senate District 15.

Till next time,

BP
